It is important to note that insurance plans vary widely in their coverage of Naturopathic Doctors. It is important that you call your insurance company to determine your specific coverage for the provider(s) you are going to see. Your plan must have this rider to be eligible for benefits in our office.

Often the terms of your insurance contract can be confusing! Here is a little help. Copay: this is the amount determined by your insurance that is due at the time of your visit. It can range from as little as $0 to $70 depending on your plan. This is required at any and ALL visits. If you signed up for our Patient Portal,(javascript:void(0)) you will be able to pay this prior to your visit. Coinsurance: in lieu of a copay, some insurance companies require participants to pay a coinsurance. This means that they determine that you will owe a percentage (often 15 to 20%) of the cost of your visit. Since this is not a set amount (unlike a copay), you will receive a bill after your visit for the amount that you owe the clinic. Deductible: This is a set amount that applies to both individual and family aspects of your insurance plan. Your insurance will require you to pay this amount before the insurance company will cover your medical expenses. This often does not apply to things like copays, coinsurance, and annual wellness/preventative visits.
