Latest Update as of June 1st, 2020
Well, it’s hard to believe it’s already June. While things are in no way back to normal, in May, at NW Naturopathic Medicine, we began seeing patients again for Acupuncture, LENS neurofeedback, Cranial Sacral therapy, blood draws and IVs in the office. We will continue providing appointments via telemedicine and as a reminder, insurance companies are covering these visits until at least the end of the year to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Although we enjoy seeing you via telemedicine, we have been excited to see many of you in the office again and want to share the changes that we have implemented in the office to keep everyone safe as we move forward.
We hope this information will help put you at ease as you think about coming in again for the many services that help support your overall health.
We are limiting the number of people in the office to manage safe distancing practices.
We have put up dividers at the front desk and have hand sanitizer available for patients when checking in or out.
Masks are being worn by all employees and practitioners.
We request that patients wear masks when entering the clinic and wash their hands or use hand sanitizer (provided) upon entering.
Supplement orders are paid for on the phone and available for pick up in paper bags to minimize interaction at the front desk.
All treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned and disinfected after every patient.
Employee temperatures are checked regularly for fever.
Shared areas are cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals throughout the day.
We are open for the following services:
Acupuncture – Tuesday and Thursday
LENS Neurofeedback - Monday and Friday
IV Therapy - Monday and Friday
Blood Draws and Cranial Sacral Therapy - Wednesday
Telemedicine (virtual) for Nutrition and Naturopathic medicine Monday through Friday.
We are continuing to do mostly telemedicine visits for ongoing care and consultation. If a concern warrants a more detailed physical exam, we will schedule you in person. We prefer to see patients in person and miss the personal connection that in-office visits allow but we think that doing telemedicine when possible is the best option right now. This allows us to begin to see patients in the office for the other services that cannot be done remotely.
Please remember that equally as important as social distancing and wearing masks is remembering to support your immune system with good food, nutrition, sleep, and exercise. If you feel like you have gotten off track with your routine since being on quarantine, we can help you get back on track. Check with us for upcoming nutrition classes and consider scheduling an acupuncture tune up to help re-balance your nervous system. The doctors can also review your current protocols to make sure you have things covered.
We miss seeing everyone and continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers as we navigate this challenging time.
